Here's our cute dog Kaya. She is some sort of Pointer and is supposed to be very good at bird hunting. We haven't taken her yet but Brandon works with her a lot. He's starting to train her to fetch at the the sound of a whistle so that when he goes bird hunting she'll know when to get the bird.

We never had to teach her how to do this pointing thing. It just comes naturally in these dogs I guess. But if you hold something in your hand that she knows she is going to fetch she will pose just like this and point at it until you throw it for her to get.

She's starting to get used to the water, she hated it at first.
